Our Part Seasoned Oak is partially dried and not ready to burn on delivery (typically 25%+ moisture), and should be stored to allow further seasoning.
Oak is a very dense hardwood, known for its slow, long-lasting burn and high heat output once fully seasoned — making it a premium choice for winter use. Due to it’s density Oak can be harder to light than other woods, so it’s best to add it to a lit fire with kindling and/or softer logs.
Our wood is recycled from our tree business, Browns Tree Solutions Ltd, making it a sustainable and eco-friendly choice. At Firewood Fuel, we aim to be as energy-efficient and economical as possible.
