Our Seasoned Softwood Firewood is a quality mix of softwood logs, seasoned to a moisture content below 20%.
Softwoods are generally easy to light and burn with a hot, bright and lively flame, making them ideal for getting a fire established quickly. They are a great choice for log burners, wood-burning stoves and open fires, particularly when you want quick heat or a shorter fire rather than the slower burn associated with dense hardwoods.
Our softwood mix can include species such as Pine, Cedar and Fir, depending on availability.
Our firewood is produced from timber generated through BROWNS Trees, the tree surgery side of our business. The timber is processed into quality seasoned logs by BROWNS Firewood, allowing us to make good use of locally sourced timber from our tree work.
