BARK WOODCHIP (G50 GRADE)

Our G50 Grade Bark Woodchip is a premium, natural woodchip suitable for a wide range of gardening, landscaping, pathways, play areas and animal areas.

Made from whole-tree woodchip, it provides a natural, rustic finish while helping to suppress weeds and retain moisture in the soil. Its durable nature also makes it a practical surface covering for paths and other frequently used outdoor areas.

Our Bark Woodchip is produced from timber generated through BROWNS Trees, the tree surgery side of our business, allowing us to make good use of locally sourced timber from our tree work.

Coverage & Recommended Depth

For pathways, play areas and similar applications, we recommend a depth of approximately 50–100mm, allowing for some settlement after installation.

As a guide, a Bulk Bag (approx. 0.65m³) should cover around 6–8m² at a depth of 50mm.*

Coverage is approximate and will vary depending on the actual volume supplied, ground conditions, settlement and application depth.

Loose Load Deliveries

Tipper Van Loads are delivered loose rather than in bags and require a suitable location where our driver can safely tip the woodchip.
